Responsibilities:
o Ensure that clients comply with all applicable authorities, while at the same time minimizing their tax and reporting burdens.
o Ensure that client service teams comply with all Firm policies, procedures, and standards.
o Understand the rules, regulations and code of professional conduct of the AICPA.
o Apply understanding of client's unique set of circumstances, documentation, and/or other requirements mandated by law
o Manage required filings using a system of review and documentation to ensure that the client is in full compliance, while keeping the client's tax and reporting burdens are as low as possible.
o Ensure collection of all data needed to comply with filing requirements and identify and communicate missing items to prepare return.
o Utilize Firm compliance software to maximize efficiency in tax prep process.
o Effectively manage teams consisting of Managers, Seniors and Staff.
o Become familiar with pronouncements of the FASB, AICPA and when leading governmental engagements, the GAO and GASB.
o Prepare financial statements as needed.
o Assist with developing, recommending, and implementing efficient and effective methods to maximize client benefits, especially by decreasing clients' current and future taxes.
o Review corporate, partnership, fiduciary, individual tax and other tax returns.
o Effectively draft clear and concise general memorandums and correspondence.
o Identify potential relevant tax issues or opportunities as part of the tax compliance process.
o Work with Partner team to implement operational changes and best practices across the practice.
Qualifications:
o Minimum of ten (10) years of public accounting tax experience
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required, Master's degree preferred
o CPA certification
o Experience in the use of various tax applications and research tools
o Experience with Microsoft Office Products
o Extensive experience with S-Corp and C-Corp tax returns
o Ability to manage and mentor members of the Tax team
o Possess proven solid verbal and written communication skills
o Familiar with pertinent IRC sections and regulations.
o Strong analytic abilities and problem solving skills
o Solid decision-making skills
o Able to be a self-starter
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
