They have a current need for a Plant Accountant. The candidate will have a successful 7-10 year track record of accounting and financial analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Month-end close, financial analysis, and financial reporting
Preparation of monthly journal entries
Account analysis and reconciliations
Interact with production, operations and sales personnel to analyze actual job cost and profitability against budget
Record revenue recognition based on Percentage of Completion accounting methodology
Accounting for inventory transactions
Tracking of fixed assets
Interact with auditors
Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Manufacturing environment required
Cost accounting experience highly desirable
Excellent MS Excel skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Driven, self-starter
Individual contributor
Team participant
Education
BS in Accounting or Finance
7-10 years accounting and financial analysis

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
