Senior UI Developer - iSystems, LLC (Colchester, VT)

SUMMARY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES Building rich and interactive web applications in the workforce management space that will delight our customers and ensure customer retention.
We have a broad base of existing desktop and web applications written in Delphi and Java.
The successful applicant will have the desire and skills to dig into these legacy technologies and systems as part of the effort to build our next generation software application suite As part of the product scrum team, develop best in class products Be highly collaborative and influential to foster an innovative, self-managed culture throughout engineering and the rest of the organization.
Personally challenge his/her self and team members to improve code quality and productivity.
Be required to do code reviews, assist with removing technical impediments, design features and suggest processes improvement wherever necessary.
An advocate of agile/scrum, and a desire to grow self-managed teams.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, processes and standards.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Expertise in web-based application development.
Expertise in developing mobile applications.
A desire to continue improving his/her technical experience.
Expert understanding of agile software development methodology, including software development practices such as code and design reviews, coding standards that drive quality, continuous integration practices.

Net MVC/C# A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field.
Master's preferred Experience re-writing legacy applications.
Bonus - previous working knowledge with Delphi and Firebird.
Self-motivated and competitive with strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with L10N / I18N would be a plus Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.

WORKING CONDITIONS Minor physical effort is required, which may involve periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing or similar activities.
Most job duties are performed in an office or at a desk, writing, using the telephone, calculator and computer.
