## Job Description
This position responds to and resolves the more complex customer issues, performs accurate and complex processing and advanced clerical and administrative tasks to assist commercial banking officers.
Composes the most complex correspondence and prepares a variety of reports using multiple systems. Organizes and maintains accurate files and records.
Responds to and resolves the most complex customer issues, collecting data and research and applying skills and experience. Frequently handles problems escalated by junior staff members and may work with management to resolve extremely difficult or sensitive issues.
Administers assigned sections of portfolio. Monitors compliance with accounting and regulatory guidelines to ensure any issues are addressed and resolved.
Identifies areas of opportunities to improve internal processes and procedures and makes recommendations to management.
Develops and maintains specialized knowledge of accounting loan systems, internal policies and procedures and all applicable regulatory guidelines to act a resource to junior staff members and assist management with a variety of day-to-day assignments.
May perform various responsibilities to assist management in day-to-day activities including but not limited to: distributing and monitoring work assignments, participating in the training of junior staff members, assisting with the completion of schedules and timecards and providing feedback to management regarding the performance of the team.
## Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency required.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Strong PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, internet and internal applications. Ability to design more advanced spreadsheets and to learn to use additional applications as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to interact effectively with a wide range of employees. Ability to remain calm, courteous and professional when handling difficult calls.
Ability to work independently and use own discretion when faced with routine decision making.
Ability to work well with a team and share knowledge and skills.
Ability to apply specialized knowledge of legal and regulatory issues to internal processes.
Flexibility to respond to multiple ad hoc assignments or situations to support commercial loan officers.
