Company Description Job Description Our client, located in Bethel, Vermont, has an immediate need to fill the position of Molding Manager.
Job Description This Company is recognized as a world leader and innovator in precision injection molding, tooling and contract manufacturing serving market leading companies across the globe.
Managing, directing, and directly assisting in Mold Set-Up, Processing, and Material Handling is required.
The position requires oversight of the operations of the Molding Department to ensure the efficient production of high quality components through direct supervision of all shift Team Leaders.
Duties will include ensuring that raw material is handled and processed correctly, that finished goods are properly packaged and labeled, and that employees are properly trained and have safe working conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities o Injection Molding Processing.
o Setting of Molds.
o Enforce Company Policy and recommend disciplinary actions.
o Interface with Human Resources to coordinate staffing, training, and disciplinary action.
o Coordinate Daily Machine Assignments.
o Perform Performance Reviews/Level Recommendations for Direct Reports.
o Housekeeping/Organization - 5S A Place For Everything and Everything In Its Place.
o Coordinate applicable secondary and sorting/rework in the area.

Daily Machine Utilization.
o Production Efficiency Metrics.
o Component Quality Inspections.
o Quality and Delivery Performance Metrics.
o Responsible for all plant operations in the absence of the Plant Manager.

years Qualifications o 5 - 10 years' experience in processing engineering grade materials (resins, polyesters, nylons).
o Proficient with Fanuc, Engel, Whitmann, and Yushin Robots.
o Proficient w/ Vision Systems.
o Process control and SPC.
o RJG Pressure Transducer Experience.
o RJG Level I and II Certification preferred.
o Scientific injection molding (SIM) skills for machine set-ups/adjustments.
o Leadership, motivation and coaching skills to develop self-directed Teams.
o Minimum Associate's Degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent experience required.
Skills and Abilities o A minimum of 5 years' experience supervising a Production Team preferred.
Must also be able to deal effectively and professionally with team members.
o Strong knowledge in troubleshooting injection molds and injection molding processes.
o Process capability, troubleshooting, SPC and robotics.
o Able to effectively lead a cross-function/departmental internal team.
o Excellent external/internal customer and presentation skills to all levels of customer's organizations.
o Strong multiple project management skills.
o Able to thrive in a fast paced environment characterized by high growth.
o Associate's Degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent experience required.
