May directly develop embedded firmware in C Develop test plans and unit test environments Develop tests in C and/or Python for testing in simulation emulation, FPGA and silicon environments Report and track bugs in JIRA Find root cause for failing tests Develop coverage monitors and analyze for high functional coverage Develop checkers or C/C-base transactor to verify the design Tests should work in the emulation, FPGA and silicon environments Job Requirements &
Experience:
5
years of embedded system / SoC / ASIC experience Experience testing software and hardware products Good software skills with C/C+
and Python scripting.
Experience in developing test-plans, test-benches, C/C-based transactors, and writing/debugging assembly based tests.
Experience in software testing, including an understanding of white box and black box testing, test design, test tools and methods, test documentation In-depth knowledge of logic design and microprocessor architectures desirable Experience with advanced verification techniques such as coverage driven testing, formal verification and assertions desirable Educational
Qualifications:
BS, or MS, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required Full Time Permanent Position for a large US Company.
