Responsible for the project's financial performance, the Finance Manger manages day-to-day project financial processes to ensure contract compliance and accuracy, assists management in the preparation and management of consolidated financial forecasts, budgets, annual financial planning, manages the financial functions for all assigned projects, management of financial analyst, prepares budgets, facilitates and approves all financial and workload forecasts, performs internal monitoring of financial processes and coordinates all external financial audits, proactively identifies potential areas of risk and suggests mitigation strategies, maintains updated knowledge of the program and contract compliance provisions. Position is contingent upon contract award.
Manage intercompany/interdivisional financial activity and budgeting processes
Manage forecasting/financial modeling and capacity planning activity
Issue financial statements and related reports; perform financial analysis
Prepare and manage consolidated financial forecasts/budgets, participate in annual financial planning, prepare ad hoc financial reports
Supervise financial functions and people for all assigned projects
Monitor forecasts with actual results; report on variations
Ensure budget compliance
Maintain updated knowledge of the program and contract compliance provisions
Proactively identifies risks and suggests mitigation strategies
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Bachelor's degree required; preferred field of study: Finance, Accounting
Six years of progressive work experience with general ledger, financial analysis/budgeting, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
Financial management experience in a government-contracting work environment - experience with Medicaid operations and other large-scale health operations highly desired; people management experience
