## Job Description
This position is responsible for providing support to account managers relating to the administration of client accounts and serving as the first point of contact for client requests and inquiries.
Provides support to officer team on account administration, including: completing new account and closed account checklists, setting up relevant accounts on all database systems, monitoring cash flows on structured finance transactions for debt securities, monitoring compliance requirements of structured debt securities, disseminating secondary market disclosure information to external markets, research, verifying debt service invoices and confirming funding sources, calculating and preparing draw certificates and sigh drafts to present against Letters of Credit providers.
Reviews and responds to client requests for cash movement confirming conformity to respective underlying agreement specifications and for sufficient funds availability. Completes and submits appropriate system applications or forms for all cash movement or security/asset settlement and submits to trust operations for processing. Responds to client and internal inquiries for special statement requests, transaction downloads and account research.
Prepares management reports using system downloads and creating spreadsheet application documents on various account or transaction criteria.
Provides support in new and existing account closings and terminations. Coordinates transfer of account assets, coordinates the work of other departments, apprises portfolio managers of cash transactions, archives information and schedules document retention in compliance with guidelines.
Conducts account reviews as scheduled to ensure compliance. Reports discrepancies and unusual activity or transaction requests to account manager. Conducts all activity in accordance with department, division and bank policies and procedures. May assist in assessing and procuring department supplies.
Provides advice and guidance to junior staff members.
## Job Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience required.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Strong PC skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation and industry specific applications.
Demonstrated experience interpreting legal documents.
Ability to organize and prioritize work with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work under time constraints while maintaining a high accuracy level.
Ability to work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to interact with internal and external contacts.
Ability to share knowledge and skills with a team.
