We are currently seeking an organized, team-oriented Collections Staff Scheduler in Burlington, VT.
JOB
Summary: Coordinate scheduling activities to ensure proper staffing for maintaining optimum blood drive productivity and quality donor care. Project and coordinate resource requests so that each collections operation has staff and resources assigned in a manner that will assure success and/or be in accordance with agreed upon standards.
Responsibilities include:
1. Schedule collections staff in accordance with booked drives and staffing assigned rules. May coordinate and select training sites.
2. Resolve scheduling conflicts while adhering to regional guidelines which may include scheduling staff required to be included in an on-call rotation and coordinating this particular collection staff on-call coverage.
3. May coordinate staff vacation approvals, sick leave and other time off request based on staffing needs and policies and procedures. Coordinates with staff supervisors on the process.
4. Generate staffing reports for management, as required.
5. Plans for rotation of staff for out-of-town, weekend and holiday operations. Balances workload among individuals and considers travel and overtime cost in the process.
6. Routinely monitor and identify critical scheduling related indicators and trends, communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
7. May support lodging reservations and billing arrangements as schedules dictate (in conjunction with Collections Staff Timekeeping Coordinator).
Qualifications: The American Red Cross is looking for an individual who has an Associates Degree and a minimum two years related experience or combination of education and related experience is required. Knowledge of American Red Cross scheduling or staffing patterns preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective organization skills and attention to detail is required. Excellent computer skills especially in the use of spreadsheet and/or databases are required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
