Summary:
Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Participates, understand & explain all plant spending.
o Generates, analyzes and presents spending and production measurement summaries.
o Participates with the monthly inventory and sales close process.
o Calculates monthly standard cost of production for plant site.
o Participates with cost-related journal entries.
o Participates with others to reconcile the Cost / Production / Inventory system to the balance sheet.
o Audits internal controls at plant level.
o Conducts cost studies and prepare & present findings and recommendations.
o Participates with Operations in conducting capital investment analysis.
Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
o 5
years of related experience.
o BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting or required field.
o Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
o Advanced understanding of accounting concepts.
o Occasional travel to other company sites as needed.
