Sodexo has an opportunity available at University of
vermont
for a Manager of Retail Dining.
The Food Service Manager will manage two locations within the same building, one a Monday-Friday high volume cafe and a 75 seat Restaurant open for lunch. Responsible for all the catered bars across campus including staffing, training, managing liquor permits, etc.
High client visibility as the administration for the campus is located within the building.
Experience with high end catering and presidential catering preferred. Also, culinary/production skills would be a great benefit in this position.
Seeking bilingual candidates; the ability to speak Spanish will assist in managing this workforce.

Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary
services
including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
