Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability and meet sales targets.
- Market and promote products to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Manage the buying process, including selecting merchandise, negotiating with suppliers, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Create work schedules and manage employee time off requests.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred but not required.
- Strong budgeting skills with the ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with payroll management and scheduling software.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
