Public Utility / Environmental Law / Telecommunications Attorney
Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney (although more experienced candidates will be considered) to join the firms Environment, Energy and Telecommunications Group. The ideal candidate will have experience or advanced degrees in environmental law, energy or telecommunications, as well as excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Work will include involvement with major regulatory proceedings, permitting, and transactional work on behalf of energy and telecommunications companies. Responsibilities will include maintaining an ongoing knowledge of environmental, energy and telecommunications law; research and analysis of legal issues in these areas; and regular communication with clients.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
