The University of Vermont College of Medicine, Department of Neurological Sciences is soliciting applications to fill two Assistant Professor positions in the Education Scholar Pathway. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the Vermont Integrated Curriculum for medical students (Human Structure & Function and Neural Science) and Doctorate Curriculum for Physical Therapy (Gross Anatomy and Neuroscience). Depending on the candidates skill set, responsibilities may include participating in the undergraduate neuroanatomy course and Anatomy & Physiology Courses. Research is related to educational scholarship.
Qualified candidates should have a graduate degree (MD or PhD) in biological or related science, and one to two years related experience in laboratory teaching. Knowledge of human anatomy is required. Additional requirements include a passion for teaching, strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in team-based education for learners varying from undergraduates to postgraduate learners. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced training in human gross anatomy, human neuroanatomy and physiological systems. Academic advancement at the University of Vermont College of Medicine requires excellence in teaching as well as scholarly contributions, particularly in the areas of the art, science, or profession of teaching.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
