Human Resources Director of Total Rewards
Medical Center seeking a Director of Total Rewards with an extensive background in compensation, benefits, HRIS and management. The position will directly manage a staff of five leaders, and will report to the VP of Human Resources.
The Director of Total Rewards provides leadership and management for the development of strategic plans involving Compensation, Benefits, HRIS and Employee Health. The Director will be instrumental in the development of a comprehensive total rewards plan aimed at recruiting talent, developing culture and building engagement.
The Director of Total Rewards is responsible for leading the organization's benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee health and injury prevention and wellness programs. The Director strategically directs, develops and implements comprehensive total reward programs that align with strategic objectives while supporting our culture, maintaining competitive positioning in the market, and ensuring legal and contractual compliance. Through collaboration with leadership throughout the organization, this position also ensures that our reward systems, injury prevention programs and employee wellbeing initiatives help drive performance, talent acquisition, engagement and retention across all levels of the organization
The incumbent will work closely with members of the Human Resources leadership team to create a customer focus that is responsive to the needs of our leaders, staff and physicians and ensure effective and efficient operations and HR systems.
The right candidate for this position must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business area. Ideally, the incumbent would be a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or SPHR.
Looking for someone with Seven or more years of Employee Benefits and Compensation experience; Progressive management experience in a complex healthcare environment leading a team of Human Resources professionals; Five or more years of increasing responsibilities in the management of total reward programs HR systems; Track record demonstrating the ability to improve HR systems and enhance operational efficiency.
Extensive knowledge and proven experience working in the employee benefits field, including strategic planning and program design, budget forecasting, cost benefit analysis, administration, vendor management and communications is a must.
Extensive knowledge and proven experience in salary planning and administration at both staff and executive level, including tools and best practices is also essential.
