## Job Description
This position provides operation/system support to the Credit Card Servicing department using extensive system knowledge and procedural understanding. In addition, this position oversees quality control of work performed and works to resolve any operational or system issues. This position also works closely with the department Manager regarding operational matters including projects and creating reports.
II. Principal
Responsibilities:
Reviews new account applications and supporting documentation from branches and loan officers for adequacy, completeness and appropriateness prior to set up. Detects potential feature enhancements for the customer during this process.
Processes all monetary transactions produced from various functions within the department. These transactions are processed on the core and the FDR card processing system. Ensures the daily product produced by the department is maintained at a high level.
Produces regular and ad hoc reports using credit card and core system report generation systems.
Assists department personnel with any system questions or issues. Provides procedural remedies to resolve problems and enhance operations/efficiencies. Acts as resident expert regarding Credit Card Servicing systems. Stays current on systems/operations, industry requirements, changes, updates, etc.
Works with credit card processor to resolve certain operational issues, enhance operations and implement new feature/functionality.
Plays the business analysis role for the department for systems-related projects, conversions, etc.
Provides backup for all tasks for the Operations Rep position(s) and for the Customer Service position(s).
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

High School diploma or equivalency required.
3-4 years relevant experience.

Behavioral/Technical Skills:
Advanced understanding of Credit Card Servicing and related systems, its functionality, screens, reports and overall capacities.
Strong understanding of the Department's procedures and processes in all areas - systems, operations, accounting, customer service, etc.
Ability to find practical resolutions to operations/systems related issues in a timely and organized manner.
Strong analytical and research skills. Ability to identify areas in need of improvement and to make viable recommendations for system and operational/procedural changes.
Ability to work effectively with department staff and management Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to communicate effectively with staff, management and outside contacts.
