This position is responsible for providing technical support through conversation for end users of the organization''s mainframe and personal computer hardware and software under direct supervision.
Researches, responds to and resolves routine questions and problems from internal customers through conversation and in adherence with organizational policies, procedures and timeframes. Refers more complex questions and problems to senior technicians, management or third level support. Develops effective customer service and troubleshooting skills and attains working knowledge of information systems technology and internal policies and procedures. Assists in the development of new solutions to frequently occurring problems. Participates in special projects as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalency required. 1-3 years relevant experience.
Job Requirements Certification/License Behavioral/Technical Skills Strong PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, internet and internal bank software. Ability to remain calm, courteous and professional when handling difficult calls. Effective verbal and written skills are necessary to provide courteous and professional customer service, to record issues accurately in the problem management system and for user communications. Willingness and ability to attend technical, customer service and communications training sessions. Ability to develop awareness of industry trends and support products. Ability to work in a team environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
