Job Description
Responsible for originating Small Business Administration (SBA) 7a and 504 loans consistent with SBA Division product structure, pricing and credit guidelines at or above targeted goals. Maintain frequent interaction across select TD Bank divisions and cross sell existing customers. Develop and maintain relationships with external centers of influence, diverse industry segments and SBA District Offices.
Job Requirements
Makes and assists in sales calls, gathers financial and business information and explains products and services offered.
Communicates credit decisions to Customers and negotiates specific terms and conditions as defined by credit decisions.
Coordinates and collects customer documentation to submit the loan request to the credit department.
Makes prospect and customer calls independently to promote SBA products and cross sell other TD Bank products and services.
Responds to inquiries and follows up on information requests.
Compiles necessary information to prepare preliminary credit analysis
Supports the growth goals (loans, deposits, fees) of the market team through origination of new SBA loans.
Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan, which will source volume that meets our underwriting criteria, structure and pricing.
Developing relationships both internally and externally.
Inform prospects and existing clientele of financing options available.
Collect all required documentation needed for credit to render a decision.
Package loan request for credit.
Work along side our operational team in order to help process the loan.
Represents SBA Division at TD Bank functions, business groups and civic organizations to develop centers of influence and
drive sales performance. Joins and participates in several outside associations to generate prospective leads.
Participates in civic activities to promote growth and development of the community and a positive image for TD Bank.
Contributes to a positive, ethical and respectful working environment and communicates openly with others
Develops relationships with centers of influence within the marketplace, promoting TD Bank brand, products and services.
Qualifications
3-5 years or more of SBA sales experience
Prospects need to be fully credit trained
Ability to cold call & make presentations.
Ability to process loans from sourcing volume to collecting all documentation and providing write up
