Job Description:
Potential days/times (not required for employment):
Thursdays 3:30-6:30pm and Saturdays 9am - Noon, as well as Back Yard Swim Instructors for the Summer
The Greater Burlington YMCA is looking for Swim Instructors for our indoor programs and for our Backyard Swim Program for Summer 2014. Instructors design, implement and teach lesson plans that are safe and appropriate for each swimming level. Applicants for the Backyard program must have transportation.
This is a great opportunity to work with children! Instructors teach learn-to-swim lessons for infants, toddlers, children and teens. Opportunities to become life guard certified if not already! Employment with the Greater Burlington Y also includes a membership to our facility for yourself.

Qualifications:
Must be kind, energetic and easy going. Background in swimming is preferred but not mandatory. Enthusiasm for working with children, making a difference and swimming is crucial; we'll teach you the rest! CPR and 1stAid certification is required, WSI or YSL and life guarding certification preferred, but not mandatory.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
